How to maintain a curry leaf plant:
- Use fresh seeds to propagate or buy the curry leaf plant from the local nurseries or Asian stores.
- Transfer plant to a well-drained bigger container and keep near a bright sunny window.
- If plant is kept indoors, water once a week. For outdoor plant, water on a regular basis.
- Fertilize once in few months.
- Trim the plant to get a quick and thick growth.
- In extreme cold weathers, keep plant indoors.
- Curry leaves are easy to harvest. Pluck leaves when required for cooking. They have the best flavor and aroma when fresh.
